Encompass Health has announced plans to build a freestanding 50 bed comprehensive inpatient rehabilitation hospital in Cumming, GA. The hospital, which is expected to open in the fourth quarter of 2020, will be located on 9.2 acres at 1165 Sanders Road in Cumming. It will provide comprehensive rehabilitative services to patients overcoming a variety of debilitating illnesses and injuries such as stroke and other neurological disorders, brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, amputations and complex orthopedic conditions.

We are seeking a full time PM&R Medical Director interested in building a practice and growing with the Cumming, GA community. High income potential in a beautiful area Northeast of Atlanta. Great weather year round for outdoor activities. Cumming is located just minutes from Lake Lanier - a perfect destination for the watersport enthusiast. Downtown Atlanta is only an hour drive away.

PM&R INPATIENT JOB DESCRIPTION

• Expected patient load 15-20 patients
• Medical Director compensation for administrative duties

PRACTICE MODEL
 
PM&R Physician will establish a private practice to include a caseload of medically complex inpatient rehabilitation patients.  The Physiatrist will set up a relationship with an independent billing company and retain 100% of his/her own billing and collections.  Encompass Health hospitals are extremely busy with high patient volumes - Encompass Health has its own well-trained outreach teams that identify appropriate inpatient rehabilitation candidates from surrounding areas.
