·Monitors and maintains Work Items/CFUM’s for all facilities.
·Prepares patient itemized bill upon request; explain charges, payments and adjustments.
·Monitors patient accounts; initiates collection procedures when appropriated.
·Accepts any other responsibilities assigned by leadership.
What You Will Need:
Â·Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing required.
Â·High School graduates or equivalent required.
Â·One year experience required in medical billing, collections and insurance.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS PREFERRED:
Â·Additional languages preferred.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:
Â·Prefer education in accounting or related business field.
Provides financial counseling to patients and families in accordance with the facilityâ˜s policies. Assist patients/families with financial arrangements including financial assistance, for qualified patients, from outside Agencies.
