Health First, Inc. (Health First), based in Rockledge, Florida, is seeking a new Administrator for Cape Canaveral Hospital (CCH). Health First is a Florida not-for-profit Integrated Delivery Network, located on Central Florida's east coast. The organization serves patients and their families, members and clients from Brevard and Indian River Counties. Ahead of the current healthcare curve, Health First provides comprehensive services and care spanning health insurance, hospitals, physicians, and outpatient & wellness services.
Located in the fastest growing area in Brevard County, CCH is focused on cutting edge technology and offers a full spectrum of healthcare services. Accredited by The Joint Commission and recognized for their quality care and services, CCH features 150 beds and over 200 physicians and offers more than 50 medical specialties.
Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer of Health First's Hospital Division, the Administrator of Cape Canaveral Hospital is responsible for organizing, planning, controlling and coordinating resources to provide quality patient care in a cost-effective manner in accordance with the Health First mission. While leading nursing, clinical and non-clinical on-site operations, the Administrator will have the opportunity to grow and develop a team in pursuit of continued excellence. The Administrator will assist the COO, Hospital Division with the development and implementation of an annual strategic plan with goals and objectives for the hospital site.
Candidates must have a graduate degree in health, business administration or related area and have a minimum of 5-10 years of management and administrative experience within a healthcare setting. The Administrator must have the ability to continually assess the environment and prioritize, a history of effective relationships with physicians, and excellent leadership, communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
