Orlando, FL – Orlando Health, a $7.1 billion healthcare organization seeks a dynamic and distinguished physician executive to serve as the next Vice President, Orlando Health and President, Women Services (President, Women's Services) for Orlando Health Medical Group (OHMG). This is a unique opportunity to join one of the largest and most contemporary multispecialty medical groups in Florida within a highly progressive regional health system projected for significant growth.
OHMG was established in 2011 as a distinct legal entity of Orlando Health. Since its early development, OHMG has had dramatic growth over the last 10 years to 1,200 providers and 4,200 non-clinical FTEs. With over $500M in Net Revenue, OHMG has 200 practices geographically located in eight (8) counties. They offer a strong representation in almost every specialty including General Surgery, Cardiology, Vascular, Orthopedics, Neurology, Oncology, Pediatric, and Women’s Health.
Reporting directly to the SVP, Orlando Health and President, OHMG, Dr. Sunil Desai, the President, Women's Services will be responsible for the strategic development and operational performance of enterprise-wide Women’s Services. This leader will ensure the success of operations through quality enhancement, cost containment, revenue growth and development of strong relationships with staff, board members, physicians and community leaders. The successful candidate will be an outstanding physician leader with a passion to improve processes and systems of care, to lead the delivery of high quality care and the ability to work well with multiple partners and stakeholders in a matrixed environment. We seek candidates with a national reputation in Women's Health, prior leadership experience gained within an integrated health system of notable size and complexity, and strong interpersonal and communication skills that complement a passion for excellence and achievement. Candidates must hold the degree of MD or DO, be Board-Certified in a relevant subspecialty and be eligible for licensure in the state of Florida.
