â· Coordinates continuum of care for patients, families and staff during manager's absence.
â· Develops, Nurtures, and Maintains collegial relationships with local clergy, churches, and civic organizations.
â· Facilitates continuum of care for patients, their family members, and staff during the director's absence. (Prioritizes visits: Codes/Deaths, Initial/Routine visits of new admissions, extended length of stay, and requests/referrals from patients, family members, and staff).
â· Follow up with patients and/or families having special needs.
â· Works with Director and patient care provider team members in developing psycho/social/spiritual patient care plan.
â· Performs other duties as assigned.
â· Plans and conducts religious services/ceremonies/rites in collaboration with the Director of pastoral care or in his/her absence.
â· Prepares verbal/written reports for Director of pastoral care and others.
â· Mentors volunteers, interns, CPE residents, and local clergy in pastoral care ministry.
â· Offers ministry to patients, family members, employees, physicians and volunteers that demonstrates a daily application of Brookwood Baptist Health Mission.
â· Attends Ethics, Employee Benevolent Fund Action Committees, and other meetings as needed/requested to enhance the BBH Mission and Values.
â· Maintains collegial relationships with community churches and clergy. Works with manager in coordinating any special religious rites for patients with local churches as requested.

Required: Masterâ��s degree from Accredited Seminary. Bachelor's degree in related field and one (1) year of related experience. One year residency or a minimum of four extended units in an approved Clinical Pastoral Education program
