The University of Chicago's Department of Surgery, Section of Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery, is searching for full-time faculty members at any rank. Appointees will provide Hand Reconstruction and General Plastic and Reconstructive care to patients. They will assist in building a joint hand/upper extremity service with the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery and Rehabilitation Medicine that mirrors the excellence and national prestige of our entire Section. Other duties will include teaching and supervision of trainees and students, and scholarly activity. We especially welcome applicants who have completed an accredited fellowship or equivalent training in hand surgery.  Academic rank and compensation (including a generous package of fringe benefits) are dependent upon qualifications.
