The Department of Orthopaedics and Rehabilitation at Penn State Health's Milton S. Hershey Medical Center is seeking a full-time BC/BE fellowship-trained surgical podiatrist.
This position will be a member of the Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle division, which is comprised of two Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle surgeons, a third Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle surgeons starting in July 2023, and a medical podiatrist. Additionally the division is supported by two Advanced Practice Practitioners, a Nurse Coordinator, and a skilled team of support staff. Our extensive referral base includes five primary counties in central Pennsylvania, as well as referrals from the extended central Pennsylvania region.
The qualified candidate will be a full-time faculty member of the Penn State Health Department of Orthopaedics & Rehabilitation, and hold an academic rank within the Penn State College of Medicine.
What we're seeking:
DPM – Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree
BC/BE in Orthopaedic Surgery
Fellowship training in Podiatric medicine and surgery required
Excellent patient care abilities, strong communication skills, interest in teaching and research, and a collaborative spirit
