JOB SUMMARY:
We have an Advanced Practice Manager opportunity available for an experienced Physician Assistant or Family Nurse Practitioner to join our Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation practice at Penn State Health. The APP Manager will be responsible to supervise Advanced Practice Clinician staff including managing daily HR functions, staff scheduling and deployment, as well as providing hands-on clinical patient care as an APC staff member.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):
Master's prepared Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant required
Three (3) years experience as advanced practice clinician/provider in an acute care hospital setting required.
Appropriate certification (CRNP or PA) required.
Current active licensure to practice in the state of Pennsylvania required.
Basic Life Support (BLS).
PREFERRED QUALIFICATION(S):
Experience in Primary Care, Pediatrics, Family Medicine or Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation preferred.
Progressive leadership skills and supervisory experience preferred.
