Pediatric Intensivist! 30-minutes from Beautiful Charleston, South Carolina!

Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking an Experienced Board-Certified Pediatric Intensivist to join our pediatric inpatient and critical care team at Summerville Medical Center (SMC)â”just 30 minutes from Charleston!

Your Clinical Scope

• 6-bed PICU
• Level III NICU support
• Telephone consult available with quaternary care center 45 minutes away
• Inpatient pediatric floor + ER consults
• In-house days, home call at night
• Teaching opportunities teaching: a family medicine residency program is now in its third year with residents participating about half of the year, 4.5 days per week
• Procedures include: intubations, LPs, line/chest tube placement, CPR
• 2024 Census: 373 pediatric admits, 85 PICU admits, ADC: 4.1
